A few of My Favorite Things

Soooo..... I REALLY like having a daughter! She has been such a good baby, and she has been such a fun change. I love not being able to decide which adorable, cute outfit to put on, and the matching socks to go with it, and not to mention whether to do a bow, or a flower, or a headband, okay you get the idea. Lyv is the most beautiful girl! We are just loving her to pieces. I'm so grateful to have a daughter, and I hope that I will be able to be a good mom.

I had to post this picture of Jack - he LOVES being outside, and playing in the dirt, water, mud, etc. He likes to rub it all over his body, and apparently likes to eat it too. What a fun BOY!

Olyvia Jeanne Summers

She finally arrived! Monday, April 19th at 5:00 p.m. little Lyv arrived.

7 lbs. 7 oz.
20 1/2 inches

She looks identical to Sam when he was born, and we are all so excited to have her here. She was a few days over, but she was worth the wait. Sam is such a great big brother and loves to hold her, and even Jack, yes Jack - is doing really good. He loves to give her kisses. Thank you to all who have given their love and support. We love our happy, healthy baby girl!

This is me still loving the effects of the epidural!)

Um, can you say Daddy's Girl??

Oh Baby.....

Since I'm not sure how much longer I can do things like this I'm going to take advantage of the little play on words! Still NO baby - but I don't know what else I really expect considering that the boys all came with 1 or 2 days before the due date. I'm running up and down the stairs, lifting heavy objects, cleaning like mad, but nothing... Saturday is the actual due date, so I still have a little while before I can officially start complaining. Thank you for all of you who have been keeping track of this pregnancy, we're so excited to post that she is here!

Oh baby - This is what we woke up to this morning! Now let me make sure that is in fact April 13? Idaho has the craziest weather, yesterday it was 65 and completely snowless, see what 24 hours can do? Who's a little jealous that they don't live here?
Oh baby - Jack's new name is now Head-wound Harry! He turfed it the other day on the cement and got some pretty good road rash just above the stitches scar! Nice.
Oh baby - Sam is riding a bike WITHOUT training wheels. I don't have any video or picture of this yet, but he did it out at the Ashton's in the gym. It is the ONLY place that he'll even try to ride since he's a little afraid of falling on the pavement. We were so proud of him - and the look on his face when he finally did it was priceless.

Easter Fun with Cousins

This past week we have been COUSIN CRAZY and loving every minute of it. The Keele and Robinson cousins came in and have made a super fun week for the boys, especially with Easter celebration. We flew kites,
visited the Teton Flood Museum, dyed easter eggs, hunted for easter eggs, and enjoyed a WONDERFUL conference weekend. Besides the huge snow storm that rolled in on Friday night, it was a perfect Easter, complete with Leg of Lamb dinner (YUM). The boys had a great time, and it is a little sad to think that this will all be a distant memory in two months when we head out to NY. Until then, we're going to keep up the good times.....Easter Morning the Easter Bunny slept in and hurried to set out some fun things for the kids .... the biggest hit was the matching Toy Story swimsuits. The boys wore them all day long, and even slept in them last night.

I am now at 38 weeks and 1 day, and I'm swelling like a balloon! My legs are seriously horrible by the end of the day, so any day that the little lady decides to introduce herself would be A-Okay with me!!
