California Adventure

We rounded out our CA Adventure with CALIFORNIA ADVENTURE of course!  This was one of my favorite days for two reasons: 1) Lyvie and I had breakfast with Princesses 2) the park wasn't crowded at all and we were able to ride like crazy!

Lyvie and I started the morning with a royal breakfast at Ariel's Grotto - where 4 of her princess friends came and visited with each family.  She was in heaven and so was I!  In fact I got a little teary eyed seeing her face light up when each new princess entered the room.  She was over the moon!

The coolest ride - Radiator Racers!  Seriously they did such an amazing job replicating the movie.  I loved everything about this part of the park, and the kids did too!  We even got to see Lightning McQueen and Mater up close!

Max loved the water!  He found somewhere to splash around everywhere in the park and was soaked about any hour into the day.  Needless to say by the end of a hot humid day, he and his shoes were super stinky, but he was happy!

Sam was crazy about California Screamin - but I am sad to admit that I am getting old.  My poor old stomach can't hand these faster, whirling, upside down rides anymore!  I did go once with him, for good measure, but that was all this old girl could take!

Max loved loved the Disney Junior Showcase - he saw his favorites: Mickey Mouse Clubhouse, Jake and the Neverland Pirates and Doc McStuffins!  Super cute to see the little kids get so excited.

Jake did brave the Cars ride and the Grizzly Rapids ride, but those about did him in!  He was so nervous about going too fast.  So his favorite ride of the day was the Jumping Jellyfish. It was just his speed and he even let go of the handles and put both arms in the air for 5 seconds!

Because I didn't want to leave the park on a bad not for Jack Jack - while the other kids did Radiator Racers again we did the Bumper cars in A Bug's Life!  We rocked it.

On our way out we were trying to take time (Shawn took a quick stop at the Tower of Terror) and we saw Goofy.  Sam and Lyv decided to get an autograph.  Goofy is awesome alone, but even cooler when Pluto joins him!  Yep just as Goofy was leaving our kids got a double photo - a rarity in Disneyland!

Pluto even kissed Lyvie's autograph book - she thought that was pretty cool.

The final photo of the trip - Summers Family Exhausted!
But pleased as punch - it was such a great day!

Looks like such a blast! Lyv looks like she enjoyed every second and the boys are looking so grown up.
