Life is all about getting to the next "stage" and we've accomplished that this week. We knew that once we had three children, we'd have to get rid of the 4-Runner. We both love this car, and it has been with us our entire marriage. We went from this: (Cool, compact, sporty, tough, young - I didn't purposely make the picture smaller, but it kind of helps with the effect)
to this.... The Family VAN! In all seriousness, we are very excited about the new van, and it is already a huge hit with the boys mostly due to the DVD player. It is great - very spacious, ideal for getting all the kids in and out, and we can grow into it. Next step baby #3!
In other updates we made it back to Idaho, hauling our belongings back to the storage unit and making ourselves at home with my parents. The kids love being surrounded by grandparents who spoil them, and cousins who offer endless amounts of fun, so it has been nice. Shawn is in his vacation month, and making the most of studying for boards BUT we are going to get a little treat this month. We get to go to HAWAII!!! Aloha, paradise, relaxation, just the two of us... need I say more? We are so excited about this, and grateful for family that is making this possible and helping with the boys.
Sam started preschool again and loves being back to a "real" preschool - not mom and me preschool like in Utah. Jack is terrorizing the house and loving every minute of it. He has finally mastered 1 word - "Uh,oh" .... maybe he hears this too much?

How did you get Shawn to cave on the van? Must have got him with the DVD player!!:) Claire's only word is Uh-oh too with a big emphasis on the OHH, oh yeah, she says NO a lot too!:) Hope you guys are enjoying vacation mode, do you think you could sneak me in your suitcase? Miss you a ton..let's connect soon!
Girl, I can't keep up with all your moving! Awesome about Hawaii! I know what you mean; Zac and I are going on a cruise to Mexico and it was either that, or book us into the psychiatric ward:) How far along are you and I need a belly pic!
