Father's Day

We had a fun Father's Day - and enjoyed awesome weather. We started by giving Shawn breakfast in bed, and then we had dinner after church of Shawn's Favorites - steak, potatoes, stuffed mushrooms, corn on the cob, and brownie sundaes. We got Shawn some Perfect Push-ups and a round of Miniature Golf for him and Sam. Shawn and Sam played ball and pretty much it was a perfect day! Watch out Major Leagues here comes Sammy Summers!

Food is a big part of any celebration in our life, and I knew exactly what my mom would make for my Dad for Father's Day - leg of lamb, peas and potatoes, and pumpkin pie. What do you do (or eat) for Father's Day??

What a cute video. I love how Sam talks. Can't wait to see him playing tennis next...

Love the pic of Shawn and Sam, some day he's gunna be too cool to hug Shawn like that. What a sad day that will be.

Looks like Shawn was doing the "perfect pushup!"

Sounds like it was a great day and that Shawn must have been in heaven with all the food you cooked Meg. Good job! Love seeing what you are up to every week!

Tim requested a yummy day of food, too. We have 9:00 church so there wasn't any breakfast in bed, but we had sweet rolls for lunch and for dinner I made a pork roast in the crockpot and we also had mashed potatoes, homemade rolls, and corn. Yummy!!

Shane stayed in Iowa while we came to Montana, so unfortunately the only thing I could do for him on Father's Day was talk on the phone. I plan on making him pot roast with potatoes and carrots when I get home next week.

UMMMM to be honest we eat out! haha I know we are bad. If I did cook a meal for Broc any other day it would be Ham (it's one that has pepsi and brown sugar in it and its so tender and good) and Cheesy potatoes and corn on the cob! I still need to post my 7 layer dip recipe so you can make that for Shawn one of these day!

I'm glad you all had a fun day too. Are you surviving the crazy weather out that way? We hope you are all doing well.

How cute! I love the video of Sammy.

Could Shawn look any more like my dad??? The pic with breakfast in bed really reminds me of him.

We cooked crab legs and veggies for Father's Day this year. It was really yummy.
