Jack-Jack is Two!

I love Labor Day weekend because two years ago, I "labored" and delivered the most beautiful, wonderful baby. Jack came very quickly -weighed 7 lbs. 6 oz., and was an answer to our many prayers! Jack Jack we love you so much, and I think I know why we had to wait so long for you to come - Heavenly Father wanted to me really, REALLY want you - because he knew what a curious, mischievious, and busy you would be - but you were definitely worth the wait. Happy, Happy birthday! The first year of life - I really didn't think there was a happier, better baby in the world. Jack was ideal in every sense of the word. However, after the 1 st year of ease.... he let the real fun begin!

At age 2 Jack is still very clumsy and suffers from head wounds frequently, but he has gotten so use to them he hardly ever cries.
He is starting to talk a little more - here are some of his favorite words:

Jack-Jack Attack
Hello
Bye-bye
Am (Sam)
Maa, Daaa
Pop
Sucker
Juice
Thank You
No
I don't know
hot
Kay (okay)
It all sounds a little like Chinese when he says it - it sharp two syllables, but it makes sense to us.
He's been to the hospital twice, once for surgery, once for stitches.
He loves to play with cars and carry them around the house, yard, to the store, etc. in his little red bucket. He also really likes books, play-dough, and most recently coloring!
He is left-handed, so it will be interesting teaching him how to bat, throw, etc.
He loves to eat fruit and anything sweet - his teeth might fall out before too long. He loves, loves, loves water - and plays in it everywhere (toilet, driveway, hose, pool, sink).
He has a great sense of humor, and laughs all of the time.
He likes to think he is being funny when he is doing something naughty in order to make me less angry - and it usually works. He runs in after doing something and reports his misbehavior with a "uh-huh!".
He is the little ray of sunshine in our house
and we are so lucky to have him!
